Author’s Note: The storyboard of my re-mediation “mash-up” video is almost accurate. As I continue along my creative journey and edit my re-purposing spoken word, some of my words (and therefore ideas) will be different from the ideas that are presented to you in the storyboard. Also, please keep in mind that the drawings are my interpretations of the videos and images (I now realize that i should have distinguished between the two) that I will be using in the video. If you would like to see the actual image or video clip because my ideas are unclear or to better visualize my vision, feel free to ask me. Note that some panels have labels above them to better explain what the drawing represents (i.e. “dancing”). I have mostly all of my material except for the dancing and African drummers playing, both of which I will be recording myself. I am open to suggestions. So, if you belief that a stanza can be better visually expressed and have an image or video clip in mind let me know.
